I keep a basic toolkit in my Polestar, including a tire repair kit, jumper cables, and a torque wrench for emergencies. A portable charger for your 12v battery is also a good idea.
I’ve rented the Polestar 2 as well and agree with your points. The driving experience is fantastic, but the lack of BLIS on a premium car is definitely disappointing. The cup holders are awkward, too! Lol
It does seem like a placeholder for something that was meant to be there but didn’t quite make it. Would’ve been cool if it had that auto-eject feature
I’ve compared the PS2 and ID.4, and the PS2’s trunk space was a big plus for me. I think the ID.4’s legroom and square cargo floor offer more practicality for passengers. It really depends on whether you prioritize cargo or comfort.
The ADAS in the Polestar 3 can handle stop-and-go traffic smoothly, and it does resume automatically after longer stops without needing manual input.
The braking and acceleration are generally smooth, similar to what you'd experience in high-end systems like Audi's.
Polestar’s service process does seem great in theory, and based on some experiences, they do handle pickup, delivery, and provide replacements smoothly.
You could try restarting the car or resetting the infotainment system to see if that helps. If it persists, it may require a software update or service. Have you contacted Polestar support yet?
Oh well, I’ll reach out again and see if they can make an exception for the seat belts. It’s frustrating with the delays, but I’m hoping they’ll work with me.
