    Performance software upgrade

I get why you're confused. Software isn't hardware, but an upgrade can still tweak how the car’s hardware works. For acceleration, the software can change things like throttle response, power delivery, or how the motor and battery work together.

    My Broken Door lock Experience

I had a weird thing happen where the driver's door totally froze shut. I couldn't get it open from inside or outside. But then I tried something – I put it in Park, turned it off from the center console, climbed out, and locked it with the remote. And guess what? It worked!

Theories on Suspension Clunking - Performance Models

Hey, I’m dealing with the same clunking issue on my Polestar. Had the strut mounts replaced, but the problem got worse, especially when turning. I agree that it seems like it could be something other than the mounts, possibly sway bar bushings or ball joints. I’ve got an appointment soon too, so...

Folding Mirrors for Tight Garage Spaces

The Driver Adjustment screen includes an option to fold the mirrors, although I haven't tested it yet. It's worth mentioning that with the current software version (1.1.8), the mirrors don't automaticaly fold when you exit the vehicle or unfold when you approach.

MY24 RWD vs MY23 FWD: Which Drives Better?

RWD cars usually handle better because the weight is more evenly distributed. But FWD cars have better traction in bad weather since the weight is on the wheels that do the driving.

Recording trip issues with Polestar account

Make sure Bluetooth is turned on in your phone and that it's connected to your Polestar. Also, check for updates to the Polestar app and your car's software, outdated versions can sometimes cause problems with syncing.

    Polestar Mobile App?

Yep, I've been using the Polestar app too! It's really helpful for tracking your car's performance, monitoring charging, and even optimizing energy use, just like your brother mentioned for his Nissan Leaf.

Not quite satisfied with the Nappa leather

It seems like a lot of people are switching to vinyl these days. Leather can be a bit tricky to maintain and sometimes cracks over time, which can be frustrating.
