Just tested this last week during rush hour, and ADAS on the Polestar 3 works well for stop-and-go traffic. It’ll stop fully and resume automatically if the pause is brief. For longer stops, you do need to tap the accelerator or press the resume button, but it feels seamless. The braking and acceleration are surprisingly smooth, with no harsh jolts or delays. It’s not a hands-free solution, but it’s pretty close to perfect for heavy traffic. It takes getting used to. So try to find a safe time to try it.
