Polestar 3/4 microtech seats – How do they feel?

Hey all, Polestar’s making microtech the standard seating for the 3/4, and it’s made from recycled materials. I haven’t seen it in person yet, so is it like the Weavetech in the 2, or more like leatherette? Anyone got the inside scoop?

I get that sustainability is important, but I just hope it doesn’t feel too synthetic. Some ‘premium’ leatherette materials end up feeling cheap after a while, so I’d love to know how MicroTech holds up over time. Polestar is great at design, but if the seats don’t have that high-end feel, some buyers might be disappointed.

Microtech is closer to leatherette but with a high-tech feel. It’s smoother than Weavetech and more premium. Haven’t seen it in person yet, anyone else?

I got to feel it and I'm still wondering if microtech and weavetech are the same, but they sure seem like it. And that tailored knit is really smooth.

I think it is a synthetic performance fabric and it is durable and easy to clean.

I am not sure what I had on my PS2PP, but after 3 years of my lease, the seats looked and feel the same as when I got the car. I prefer the vegan seats.
