2021 P2 Warranty question

Was at the Volvo dealership yesterday and wanted to clarify when my warranties expire. Dealer is saying 3 years + 2 years CPO, which on Polestar website it is 3 years of maintenance but 4years manufacturer warranty. So I come up with a total of 6 years not 5, they even checked with someone else at the desk. Am I missing something??

If your Polestar vehicle is certified under Volvo's cpo program, the warranties are calculated from the original in-service date. In this case, the standard cpo warrany gives you a coverage for 5 year with unlimited mileage. This includes the original 4 years warranty form the manufacturer + an aditional year.. so it is 5 years, not 6.

You're right, Polestar's manufacturer warranty is 4 years, plus 2 years CPO should total 6. Maybe the dealer is confusing maintenance with warranty?

Just look for another dealer staff maybe that person is new. Since it is a total of 6 years, then it is best to consult another staff member and show them what you are seeing on the manual.

Theyr might have been referring to a different breakdown or misinterpreted the coverage. I recommend double checking the fine print in your CPO paperwork first.
