I'm unsure which winter tires to get. Considering performance wheels for flexibility or 21" Plus for better range
Thanks for sharing your experience! The performance wheels sound like a solid choice, especially if they help with handling and flexibility for winter conditions. I've also heard great things about Michelin winter tires, so that’s a helpful endorsement. Out of curiosity, have you noticed any impact on range with this setup compared to the 21” wheels?I chose to use the performance wheels for my winter setup. I fitted Michelin winter tires, which I've always had good results with. The lighter performance wheels should improve handling and performance in winter conditions.
Thanks for letting me knowFor the best snow/ice grip with minimal range impact, consider Michelin Pilot Alpin or Bridgestone Blizzak tires. If maximizing range is key, but you still need good winter traction, check out Continental ExtremeContact or Pirelli Winter Sottozero.
