Anyone Know If Polestar 3 Will Offer Sentry Mode or Dashcam

I've been looking into the Polestar 3 and have noticed it’s equipped with more cameras than ever, and they seem to be higher quality too. It got me wondering, do we know if there will be anything like Tesla’s Sentry Mode or an integrated dashcam function for recording? I’ve searched around but haven’t found any concrete information.

With all the tech advancements, it would be a great feature to have, especially for added security and recording potential incidents when parked. Anyone heard if Polestar is planning something similar? Or would it require third-party solutions for now?

Yeah, you are right! An integrated solution would be a better option. And I think this will happen. I mean, if they can make so many tech upgrades, this shouldn't be so hard. But, I haven't seen any information regarding this.

I'll install my own front and rear dashcams. It would be great to have side cameras too.

On model S these are pretty useful. I guess we will find out later.

an integrated security system would be a game-changer. The Polestar 4 getting a dashcam app gives me hope that it could be added to the P3 later through a software update. For now, I’m using a Nextbase dashcam, which has been working well, but I’d much prefer a built-in solution. Hopefully, Polestar is listening.

Yes! For real! Polestar 3's camera setup looks pretty impressive! I wonder too if they'll utilize all that hardware for something like Tesla's Sentry Mode or a built-in dashcam. It would be a fantastic feature for security and documenting incidents. But unfortunately I haven't seen any official word from Polestar about plans for such a feature. It's possible they're working on it, or maybe it'll come in a future software update, but for now, it's just speculation. If they don't offer it, you'll probably have to rely on third-party dashcam solutions. Hopefully, Polestar will add something similar, as it would really maximize the potential of all those cameras.

Yeah, I've noticed that too! The Polestar 3’s camera setup looks pretty next-level. As for Sentry Mode or a dashcam feature, it would be a solid addition. Tesla’s setup is pretty awesome for security and recording incidents, so it makes sense that Polestar might eventually offer something similar, especially with all the tech they’ve been packing in.
