Folding Mirrors for Tight Garage Spaces

Hey everyone, I’m getting my Polestar EV at the end of the month (super excited!), but I’ve been looking into some features ahead of time. My garage has a really narrow door opening, so I was reading about the power folding mirror option in the owner's manual.

The manual mentions a power folding “button” in the settings. Does anyone know if it can be activated while driving? Ideally, I’d like to fold the mirrors in just before pulling into the garage. It seems like it would be super handy, but I’m not sure if it works that way.

Would love to hear from anyone who’s tried this or has a similar setup! Thanks in advance!

You can fold the mirrors in the settings. But the current software sucks, so you can't make them fold automatically.

The Driver Adjustment screen includes an option to fold the mirrors, although I haven't tested it yet. It's worth mentioning that with the current software version (1.1.8), the mirrors don't automaticaly fold when you exit the vehicle or unfold when you approach.
