I’m super curious about the auto-cleaning feature for the rear view cam on the P3! Does anyone know how this thing actually works? I’ve had my fair share of struggles with dirty cameras on my old Volvo, so I’m really hoping the P3’s auto-cleaning feature will be more effective.

Adjacent to the rear camera, you’ll spot this little circular thing that kinda looks like a button or maybe a parking sensor. But guess what? It’s actually a sneaky cover for a spray nozzle! Yep, it’s there to automatically clean and spritz the camera, probably on a set schedule.

I am also curios how it works. I tried to search for additional information about this but it seems they are trying to hide it.

I think the cameras on this car are supposed to clean themselves sometimes. They might spray a little bit of fluid to get the dirt off the lens, especially when you put it in reverse. But I'm not sure if they always do it on their own. You might have to actually put it in reverse to make them clean, and even then, they might not always get everything off.
