How to use a tow-bar hitch with a swing-out ball for bike?

Hey everyone!

I recently made a reservation for my EV and chose the tow-bar hitch option. But I realized it was a swing-out ball hitch, not the usual square receiver. Since so many bike racks and accessory mounts rely on a square receiver, I am curious, how can you securely attach a bike rack or other accessories if your EV has a swing-out ball hitch instead?

Hmmm looks like the ball can be taken off since there’s a square receiver, like 1.25 inches, chillin’ right behind it. Try to check it

I don't think it is removable... as far as I know.

My bike rack requires a 2'' receiver, but the Polestar came with a 1.25'' one. I had to purchase the 2'' hitch, along with a ball and an adapter, to make it compatible.
