Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think something's off with Polestar's cargo volume numbers. They're way too low. I'm not sure how they came up with those numbers, but they don't make sense.
Models | Width | Depth | Height | Stated Cu. Ft. (Inc. Underfloor) | Calculated Volume (Exc. Underfloor) |
P2 | 39.4 | 40.1 | 17.7 | 14.4 | 16.2 |
P3 | 43.7 | 40.1 | 26 | 17.1 | 26.4 |
P4 | 45.5 | 39 | 20.5 | 18.6 | 21.1 |
Sometimes the official cargo numbers don’t quite reflect the practical, everyday use of the space. The Polestar 3 definitely feels roomier than it appears on paperI’ve noticed that too! The cargo volume numbers for the Polestar 3 seem a bit conservative, likely because they’re measured with specific configurations or under different conditions. But in real life, it feels like there’s more usable space than the numbers suggest, especially with the rear seats folded down.
