Polestar integrates long-range LiDAR for Polestar 5 and beyond with Luminar

From the news last year, Polestar and Luminar teamed up even more to bring LiDAR tech (fancy laser scanners for self-driving) to more Polestar EVs! LiDAR's been one of the core technology and innovation for EVs but having two companies work together is really awesome.

Apparently, they're working together to put this 3D laser into upcoming Polestar cars. I wonder what they've accomplished so far.

Does this mean the upcoming Polestars get insanely expensive in the future? In my opinion, I don't really need this feature.

That's cool. LiDAR is a promising technology, but we'll have to see how it affects the price and availability of Polestar cars. I hope this partnership leads to more affordable self-driving features in the future.
