Got a couple of questions about using mobile keys on my Polestar. So can my wife and I both use our phones as keys? How does the car know which profile to load when we hop in? Does the profile automatically adjust the mirrors and seats, or do we have to hit a memory button? And btw, is my Polestar ID totally different from my Google ID? Just trying to get this tech stuff down!

So from my personal experience, if both keys are present, the profile loaded depends on who gets close first. I've often had to change the profile manually if my wife's driving position is set. To avoid mix-ups, use the memory function for seats and mirrors as a backup for your preferred settings. I dont think there's any smart system detecting the key's location relative to the driver's door or seat.

You can also check the Owner’s manual for more information. It will also give you instructions how to set it up. Hope it helps!

The car figures out which phone is closest and uses that one. If both phones are around, it might use the one you used last. So if that's not right, you might have to tell the car to use your phone.

If you have set it up completely, it should be working fine. Some people are having trouble starting their cars, even though they can unlock them. The key isn't recognized by the system. I've discovered that holding my phone near the sensor on the center console usually fixes this.

The sensor is always on the right side of the center console, no matter if the car is designed for driving on the left or right side of the road.
