Hello. I'm on the hunt for some fresh tires for my Polestar 2. Right now, I’ve got the standard ones, but I’m itching to switch things up a bit. Anyone out there have some cool tire brand recommendations or experiences with different options?

What's your focus on? Performance? Range? Noise levels? Durability?

I know the Michelin Pilot Sport EVs are good in case of performance and efficiency, but these are the most expensive ones.
Also, the Pirelli is known as the best for performance and handling. These are cheaper but tend to wear out faster. I hope it helps.

Continental Premium and Goodyear Eagle are also good options. The first ones are not such 'sporty' as Michelin or Pirelli but are good in the longevity chapter. And the Goodyear are good in different weather conditions, quiet, but they don't focus on range...

It depends a lot on your preferences, as @stoneOnthestreet23 said.

My other car has the Continental DWS 06+ and the other has the Pirelli P Zero. I used to have the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S+3, but they were way too loud.

Living out here in Montana, I've been super mindful about tire choices since range efficiency matters, especially with the longer distances between towns. If you're leaning towards eco-conscious driving with your Polestar 2, I'd recommend checking out the Michelin e-Primacy. They're designed with EVs in mind, focusing on low rolling resistance to help maximize range – super helpful when you're cruising through those open stretches out here.

If you're dealing with Montana winters like I do, you might want a dedicated set of winter tires. The Nokian Hakkapeliitta R5 EV is fantastic – great grip on icy roads without compromising efficiency too much.

What's your typical driving mix like? Daily commutes, road trips, or a bit of everything? Might help narrow down the perfect set.
