The software bugs are a pain, but fingers crossed they'll fix those soon. What I'm wondering is, besides the software, are people actually unhappy with the car itself? Like, the actual hardware. Is it comfy enough? Does it perform like you thought it would? Getting the range you expected? Handling okay? Any complaints about road noise, the sound system, or anything else physical? Let's hear about the non-software problems!

The biggest problem with the car is that the software issues affect the things you have enumerated, like performance, range, handling, sound system, you name it. The good part about this car is the look.

Good question! Software issues aside, I’ve found the ride comfortable, and the handling is solid. Road noise is minimal, and the sound system is decent, range is close to expected. Any specific concerns you’re curious about?

The biggest issue with Polestar isn't the bugs or even the mechanical issues that do exist in the P2's...and don't believe anyone who claims there aren't any.

The biggest issue are the lack of support and service. When your car has to be in the shop for 2+ weeks to a month or more, that's a problem. When they can't fix the well known suspension clunking and issues that have plagued the P2 for FIVE YEARS now, that's a problem. When they can't seem to release OTAs even though they promise to, that's a problem. When the company doesn't support the dealer network properly, that's a problem.

People seem satisfied with the comfort, performance, and generally, the range is meeting expectations. Handling is getting positive feedback, and there aren't many widespread complaints about noise or the sound system. The main issue holding it back is definitely the software which is a shame because the car itself seems well-built. Hopefully they can fix the software soon and let the car's good qualities shine.
