PS2 tragedy

I stopped at the mall for some snacks when my Polestar app unexpectedly alerted me that the car in motion. I dashed back to the parking lot, expecting the worst. Fortunately, the car was still stationary!! I tried getting in the car, starting it, turning it off, and locking it again. However, the app continued to notify me that the car was in motion. I'm not sure what's causing this issue. What a day!

Oh, that sounds quite stressful! Particularly with regard to apps and alerts, I'm still learning about the tech side of cars. I wonder whether it could be some kind of software error. Have you tried restarting the system or app of the car? I have heard that oftentimes fixes these tech problems. Although I want to know how you handle it—might be helpful when I get more familiar with these kinds of features—hopefully it is not critical! Curious about what is happening there.
